SSEART R&D center is equipped with internationally advanced experimental equipment and testing instruments, including German BYK chromatic aberration meter, American BROOKFIELD viscometer, American Q-SUN xenon lamp aging tester, American TAI Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) Differential Calorimeter and other testing equipment, ensure the accuracy of test data and scientific of research outcomes.

In 2019, SSEART and PRTFC of Tianjin University jointly established SSEART R&D center, which was led by Professor Zhu Jingxu, academician of Royal Canadian College and Canadian Academy of Engineering, and Professor Zhang Hui of Tianjin Thousand Talents Plan. This will highly promote the application and development of environmental-friendly powder coatings in China.
